Dr. Ángel Leonardo Valdivieso Caraguay received an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering degree (2009) from the Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Quito, Ecuador) and holds a M.Sc. in Information Technology (2012) from the University of Applied Sciences Hochschule Mannheim (Mannheim, Germany). He is Ph.D. in Computer Science (2017) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Madrid, Spain). Visiting Researcher at Aveiro University and Altice Labs in Aveiro, Portugal. He is currently Lecturer of the Escuela Politécnica Nacional Quito-Ecuador. His professional experience includes research projects with EU H2020 (Selfnet 5G), CEPRA, EPN. He is author of scientific papers on international journals and served on the technical program committees of several leading international conferences. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Systems, IoT, SDN, NFV, Mobile Networks and information security.
