Eighth-semester student of Mechanical Engineering at the National Polytechnic School. From Quito, born on August 31, 2001. From a young age, he showed a deep interest in understanding how the objects around him worked. His innate curiosity drove him to disassemble toys and electronic devices to explore their internal workings. As he grew, Emilio developed a passion for mathematics and physics, which led him to excel in his primary and secondary education. His analytical skills and problem-solving ability distinguished him as one of the most outstanding students in his class. During his university years, Emilio excelled not only in academic excellence but also in active participation in extracurricular activities related to engineering. He got involved in the energy field, leading him to intern at the EPN's Thermodynamics Laboratory in November 2022, where he applied his theoretical knowledge to practical situations, demonstrating his ability to work in a team and solve complex problems. Furthermore, he also shows interest in the design area and new materials, leading him to take courses in this area and in 3D printing. He is currently doing internships at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Vision in this field.
